About the Chairs
Are these actual original Eames chairs?
No, they’re not the official originals. We make careful reproductions inspired by the classic 1950s Eames designs. We use really good materials so they look and feel almost identical, but you don’t have to pay the huge price tag that comes with the licensed ones.
What kind of materials go into them?
We pick materials that feel premium and stand up to daily use. Most chairs have Italian aniline leather – the kind that softens nicely over time and builds its own character. The wood parts are proper veneers in walnut, rosewood or ash. Bases are cast aluminium, and the cushioning is fire-safe foam.
How do they stack up against the real originals?
Honestly, customers say they’re hard to tell apart in person. We follow the original shapes and sizes very closely. The main difference is the cost – you get that iconic style for everyday prices.
Do I have to put them together myself?
Not much work at all. Lounge and office chairs arrive fully assembled. Dining chairs or sets just need the legs or base attaching – it’s a few screws, takes minutes. Everything you need is in the box, plus simple instructions.
Are they actually comfortable?
Absolutely. That’s what made the Eames designs famous in the first place. The lounge chairs hug you perfectly for reading or relaxing, and the office ones give proper support even if you’re sitting all day.
Delivery Questions
How long until it arrives in the Europe?
We move fast. Orders usually go out in 1-2 working days. From there, delivery takes another 2-5 days to most places in the EU mainland. You’ll get tracking details by email so you can keep an eye on it.
Do you charge for delivery?
Nope – it’s free on anything over €95, which covers pretty much all our chairs and sets. Smaller orders have a small clear fee shown at checkout.
Can you deliver anywhere in the EU?
We reach most addresses across the mainland EU. For islands or very remote spots we sometimes add a small extra fee. Just message us with your postcode and we’ll confirm.
What happens if something arrives damaged?
We pack them really well, so it’s rare. But if anything’s wrong, snap a couple of photos and let us know within 48 hours. We’ll sort a replacement or refund straight away.
Returns and Warranty
Can I send it back if I change my mind?
Of course. You’ve got 30 days from delivery to return anything, no questions asked, as long as it’s unused and in original packaging. You cover return postage, but we refund the full price. Just get in touch and we’ll walk you through it.
What warranty comes with the chairs?
Two full years. If anything goes wrong because of materials or workmanship, we repair or replace it free. (Normal everyday wear isn’t covered, of course.)
Payments and Ordering
What ways can I pay?
We take all major cards, PayPal, and a few other secure methods. Everything runs through proper encrypted systems.
Is the website safe for payments?
Yes, completely. Your details are protected and we never share them. We use the same level of security big shops do.
Can I phone to place an order?
Sure thing. Some people prefer talking to a real person – just ring us and we’ll take the order over the phone.
Care and Other Bits
How do I keep the chair looking good?
Really easy. Dust regularly with a soft cloth. For leather, wipe with a damp cloth and use conditioner every few months. Keep out of direct sunlight so colours stay fresh.
Are the chairs kind to the environment?
We build them to last years and years, which means less waste overall. We also use recyclable packaging wherever possible.
