Welcome to eames-chair.com. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of our premium Eames-style and mid-century modern furniture. By browsing the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
We supply goods to consumers in the United Kingdom and the European Union. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
1. About Us
The website eames-chair.com is operated by the owner of the domain (referred to as “we”, “us”, or “our”). Contact us at support@eames-chair.com.
2. Placing an Order
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We send an order confirmation email, but the contract forms only when we dispatch the goods and send a confirmation email.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders (for example, if items are out of stock or due to pricing errors). In such cases, we will refund any payment received.
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.
3. Prices and Payment
Prices are displayed in euros (€) and include VAT at the applicable rate. Delivery charges (if any) are shown at checkout. Orders over €95 qualify for free delivery.
We accept secure payments via Stripe, PayPal, and major credit/debit cards. Payment is authorised at checkout and charged upon dispatch.
Prices may change without notice, but changes will not affect confirmed orders.
Product images are for illustration only. Colours may vary slightly due to screen settings and lighting.
4. Delivery
We aim to process and dispatch orders within 1-2 working days. Delivery to EU mainland addresses typically takes 2-5 working days from dispatch.
We use reputable couriers and provide tracking information. A signature may be required for larger items. Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery.
We cannot deliver to PO boxes. Delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, but we will keep you informed.
5. Consumer Statutory Rights
Under applicable consumer protection laws (including the EU Consumer Rights Directive), goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality, and fit for purpose. If goods are faulty, you have rights to repair, replacement, or refund.
These statutory rights are unaffected by any voluntary policies we offer.
6. Voluntary Returns and Refunds
In addition to your statutory rights, we offer a voluntary 30-day return period from delivery. Items must be unused, in original condition, and with all packaging.
We refund the item price (excluding original delivery charges unless faulty). You are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item.
7. Warranty
All items come with a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty against defects, in addition to your statutory rights. See our separate Warranty page for details.
8. Our Liability
We are liable for foreseeable loss and damage caused by our breach of these terms or negligence. We are not liable for unforeseeable losses or for business use.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for matters that cannot be excluded under law (such as death or personal injury caused by negligence).
9. Intellectual Property
Content on the site (including images and text) is owned by us or licensed. Our products are premium reproductions inspired by classic designs. You may not reproduce site content without permission.
10. General
We may update these terms from time to time – changes will be posted on this page.
Events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure) may affect performance – we are not liable for resulting delays or failures.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. For consumers resident in other countries, mandatory local consumer protection laws apply and take precedence where required.
